row 1

Today, there are 10 rows in the cemetery. In today's first series, however, only graves that were created after 1945 find (such as the last mayor of the greater community Unterberg-Eisenstadt and his wife) and mass graves (exhumed Hungarian forced laborers).
All ranks of younger Jewish cemetery are oriented to the east. Only the newly added first row and the fifth row (originally the fourth row!) Are oriented to the west.

row 2

The second series (originally the first row) is in the tradition of the so-called "Rabbi series" in many Jewish cemeteries. In today's 2nd, 3rd and 4th row we only find men and they were buried obviously graded according to their level of learning and the religious hierarchy in the community association.
So, in this day 2nd row especially scholars, rabbis, Rabbinatsassessoren etc., also contributed creativeness (ie about religious works published).

Will this also by reversing the 5th row, so the orientation to the west, be identified?
