Remarks

Line 2: Line sometimes poorly tightened: ס instead of ה (at Important).

It is important (In the vernacular Important boy) ist das Epitheton kat’ exochen für einen gelehrten Jüngling” (Wachstein example, the inscriptions of the Old Jewish cemetery in Vienna, the first part of 1540 (?) - 1670, the second part of 1696 to 1783, sources on the history of Jews in German-Austria, published by the historic commission of the Jewish Community in. Vienna, IV, Vienna 1912 I 221, n. z., line 2).

The word a guy wurde wohl gewählt, weil Josef Adler nach seiner Scheidung offensichtlich unverheiratet starb. Daher ist “gelehrter Jüngling” (s. o.) nur im weitesten Sinn zu verstehen bzw. hier eben als “gelehrter unverheirateter Mann”.
