Line 7: Psalm 118,15.16 Did well u.a.

Line 11: Die “Chevra Qadischa” ist eine Wohltätigkeitsvereinigung, deren Aufgabe v.a. in der Betreuung mittelloser Kranker und der Bestattung Verstorbener liegt.

Line 13: Line start badly weathered. Also helped “auch half er…” schließe ich eher aus. Nach oben vorgeschlagener Transkription wurde in der Übersetzung der biblische Name “Achieser” (Numeri 1,12 u.a.; Stammführer der Daniter und Sohn Ammischaddais) in seiner Wortbedeutung (“mein Bruder ist Hilfe”) wiedergegeben.

Jacob / Ignatz (Yochanan) Rosenberger, Born Private, July 21, 1838 in Eisenstadt, died 75 years ago on January 20, 1913 at 18:30 of old age (18:30 was already in January the 13th Schvat !, so Hebrew grave inscription, line 4). wh: Oberberg-Eisenstadt.

In den Geburtsmatriken der IKG Wien ist “Ignatz durchgestrichen. Allerdings ist Jakob zwar ein hebräischer Name, aber nicht der Synagogenname (zumindest lt. hebräischer Grabinschrift, s.o. Zeile 3, dieser ist “Jochanan”). In den Geburtsmatriken Sopron bzw. Budapest (Zweitschrift) ist nur “Ignatz” eingetragen.
